Heading towards the Grand Combin ski area, on one side lies the Gran San Bernardo Valley and on the other Valpelline. After passing the village of Valpelline, Ollomont is located on the left.
The resort is family-friendly, suitable for beginners and children. The ski lift (closed this year due to a malfunction) allows skiing on 1 km of slopes divided into three runs. In addition, the conveyor belt enables beginners—especially very young children—to learn to ski in complete safety.
A large snow park served by a conveyor belt allows both adults and children to enjoy the snow. Although it is a small resort, all services—rental, ski instructors, bar/snack area—are concentrated within just a few meters, allowing visitors to fully enjoy their day.
For families who also enjoy Nordic skiing, there are several cross-country trails featuring striking views beneath the Grand Combin dominating the valley, or the possibility to rent snowshoes for excursions immersed in nature.
The ski resort will be open every Wednesday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday, and every day during the Christmas and Carnival holiday periods.
