Gressoney La Trinité – Slopes and Lifts

In the interior and also in the face of this country, there is a remarkable historical past and a striking balance between modern and ancient. Thanks to the rapid access to the Indren glacier, reachable with just three ski lifts in all seasons, Gressoney is the paradise of freeriding, in a central position of the main ski resort, between Valsesia and Val d’Ayas. Among the tracks available, the ones for ski touring and snowshoeing are worth a visit, for those who want to train or try an alternative experience. In summer the town is rich in evocative and engaging events, deeply rooted in a centuries-old tradition which is still alive.

From anywhere in Italy: Turin-Aosta A5 motorway as far as Pont Saint Martin exit, then regional highway 44 to Lys Valley.  From France: through Mont Blanc tunnel, continue on Turin-Aosta A5 motorway as far as Pont Saint Martin exit. Then regional highway 44 for Lys Valley.  From Switzerland: through Grand San Bernard tunnel in the direction of Aosta, then continue on Turin-Aosta A5 motorway as far as Pont Saint Martin exit, then regional highway 44 for Lys Valle. Winding yet spectacular regional highway 44 leads through a series of villages to Gressoney-Saint-Jean. By continuing along this road, the outline of the impressive Monte Rosa glacier becomes clear and at its feet lies the village of Gressoney-La-Trinité.
