Near Saint-Rhémy, the last town of the Gran San Bernardo Valley (1519m) lies Crévacol.
The south facing position of Crévacol makes it sunny and an ideal place not only for ski lovers, but sun worshippers too. The panoramic terraces of the mountain restaurants at 2000 metres altitude, are perfect for sun bathing. The ski area is located between 1640 and 2450 metres, with an altitude difference of 810 metres and 22 km of piste. Crévacol can satisfy all requirements, from beginners to expert skiers who can ski away from the crowded resorts. It also offers plenty for snowboarders. A three seater chair lift with a moving carpet departure can transport 1800 persons per hour up to an altitude of 2450 metres. A second chair lift and a ski lift for beginners service the lower slopes between 1640 and 2000 metres altitude. All pistes have recently been extended and a snow cannon system guarantees snow for the winter season. There is also a competition course reserved for ski clubs for training.
