From the winter season 2015-2016 the first rescue service on the Aosta Valley ski slopes is subject to a payment of € 200, partially covering the cost of the service. This amount is however covered by “SNOWCARE” insurance, if enabled previously.

In cases of accident, in order to obtain first aid care from contracted healthcare institutions without having to pay for it in advance, users of the TELESKIPASS service with insurance must on their own responsibility inform ski patrollers, while being rescued on the ski slopes, that they are insured by signing a specific self-declaration form.

Otherwise, they may submit a compensation claim to their insurance company after having paid for services obtained.
